Workflow
From a lineman's report to a closed-out cut.
Canopy Commander is one shared record that three different roles work from. Nobody re-types the job, and nobody has to call around to find out where it stands.

Life of a job
Five stages, one record.
The report lands
A lineman spots a hazard on patrol or during a restoration and files it from the truck: pole and circuit reference, location, photos, and what the tree is doing to the line. It hits the queue immediately instead of a voicemail.
Triage sets priority
The report is scored against everything else open. On storm work, the force ranking sorts contacting stems by the load they put on the conductor so the most imperative removals rise to the top of the board.
The foreman assigns
Work is dispatched to a named crew with a priority and a window. Crews see their own list; the foreman sees every open job across the circuit and who is holding it.
The crew works the job
The crew gets the pole, the access notes, the photos, and the cut order on their phone. Status moves from assigned to on site to complete without a phone call.
Closeout becomes the record
Completion photos, notes, and time stamps attach to the job. The utility gets a report that matches what actually happened in the field, pulled from a lookup instead of a reconstruction.
By role
Everyone gets the part of the job that is theirs.
Lineman
Identifies the issue and needs tree work done.
- A structured report form built for a truck window
- Photo capture with pole and circuit reference
- Status on every hazard they have reported
- Confirmation when the tree actually comes off
Foreman
Triages the queue and assigns the right crew.
- One board of every open hazard on the system
- Priority ranking, including storm force ranking
- Crew rosters, availability, and current load
- Assignment with priority, window, and notes
Tree crew
Does the cutting and closes the job out.
- Today's assigned jobs in priority order
- Pole location, access notes, and original photos
- Removal order when several stems load one span
- One-tap closeout with photos and time on job
When the whole circuit goes down at once.
During a mass outage the same flow compresses. Reports come in faster than any one person can read them, so triage does the sorting: stems are ranked by the force they put on the conductor, the most imperative removals surface first, and the foreman assigns straight off the ranked board.
- Bulk intake of hazard reports across a circuit
- Force ranking sorts the queue instead of guesswork
- Sequence warns when releasing one stem reloads another
- Crews work down the board without a dispatch call
